We now have a Parish debt with interest to pay eating into our funds, with your support in future fundraising events we hope to clear the debt and move onto the next phase of building an Annex to the Church. I am conscious of the generosity of Parishioners to so many worthy causes and the difficulties to make ends meet by some families, so I simply ask you to do what you can.
There are sheets and envelopes at the back of the Church, please complete and return your dead lists and return to the box at the back of the Church.
Further to our request for new volunteers for cleaning the Church, 2 Parishioners have joined the teams. We still urgently need more volunteers, men and woman, if you can offer an hour a month please contact the parish Office. There will be a meeting on Thursday 9th November @ 7pm in the Church to make up the cleaning rotas.
St. Vincent de Paul will hold their meeting on Monday 30th October @ 8pm in the Loft.
The PPC will hold their meeting in the Loft on Tuesday 31st October after the Vigil Mass.
SATURDAY NIGHT FOLK CHOIR
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Folk Group will not be operating during the month of November. We will return on Saturday 6th December @ 5pm and we will begin our preparations for Christmas. On that note I would like to put out an appeal for newcomers. We are in our new position at the front of the Church and it would be lovely if the front of the Church was full of singers. You do not have to be a brilliant singer, just bring lots of enthusiasm. Anyone from P5 upwards can join.
Just come along on Saturday 6th December.
