POPE LEO XIV
We give thanks to God for bestowing Pope Leo XIV upon the Church as successor to St Peter following the death of Pope Francis. We give thanks to God for the wise discernment exercised by the Cardinals during the Conclave. We pray that the Lord will bless Pope Leo, that he may lead the Church with wisdom, compassion and love.

PRAYER FOR THE NEW POPE
God our Father, shepherd and guide, look with love on Pope Leo XIV, your servant, the pastor of your Church. May his word and example inspire and guide the Church, and may he, and all those entrusted to his care, come to the joy of everlasting life. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
